Emergency! 2001 & 2002
Starring the macabre vaudevillian characters of Nurse Juice and Nurse Frankenstein, this show was performed throughout 2001 and 2002 at cabarets, for a medical magazine, and at a party. A patient comes for treatment and after the administration of various therapies, pills and ineptly administered injections, the patient dies. The final version of this show was at a fundraiser for a dying friend. In this version the patient survived, bandaged the nurses into bondage, and took off with the morphine.
The people who respond most warmly to the Nurses are usually those suffering serious illness.
