Dressing For Pleasure 2004
A wry, decorative comment on the beauty myth, this living installation was executed in the ‘Ladies Pavilion’ of the Horsham Country Showground for a regional arts conference. A Grand Duchess is attended by her Lady-In-Waiting who sutures on her jewels for the evening. A one and a half hour ritualistic piece where the audience witnesses body modification on an intimate level. Upon completion, the adorned Duchess and her Lady-In-Waiting attended the Festival Dinner Dance.
